^{Live in India is the fruit of the successful tour that in February 2017 brought Officina Zoè into that magical and contradictory land, where millennial customs and lifestyles mix with modernity. Officina Zoè has played in Bangalore, Bombay, Delhi, Jaipur and Udaipur, offering the enthusiasm of traditional and contemporary music of the land of Salento, receiving the warmth of an excited and dancing audience.
This new project wants to be a celebration and synthesis of that extraordinary experience, imbued with a message of peace and universality. Nine tracks for the ninth record, which comes to crown the 25-year history of the group: a sound corpus in which the pressing rhythm of pizzica pizziche alternates with atmospheric sounds from slower pieces. In addition to the classics, Live in India offers three unpublished works - a stornello, a waltz and an ancestral drum song - in a clever mix between traditional melodies and musical research, in the unmistakable style and timbre of Officina Zoè.}
