Autoproduz., 2001

nauna ombra

Men and women of all ages when they were "bitten" slowly began to contort with convulsive and frantic movements up to the loss of their physical strength and fainting.
Dakkamè, which in “griko” means precisely “bites” is a group that for years has carried Salento culture everywhere through its music and its songs, music and songs of a poor, simple land, colored by sunsets and the sea, praised from the Dolmens and the Menhirs and "pinched" by the great spider.
There are seven members of the group, each with different instrumental passions: from the double bass to the violin, from classical percussion to scercule, from guitar to bouzouki, from wind instruments to organ bars. There have been numerous festivals, conferences and concerts in the squares of Salento and Italy, with the sole purpose of making known their own tradition, their culture and of course their music: a totally Mediterranean music.
