The first sample library entirely dedicated to the sampling of Salento frame drums and in particular to the ancestral rhythm of pizzica-pizzica, the most overwhelming and hypnotic form of traditional Salento music.
The "Carlo Canaglia. The ancient rhythm of Salento" (CATAROF) bookcase has been specially built and designed for the composer and producer to make the most of the archaic sound of the frame drums and the rhythm of the Pizzica, paying homage to Salento and the its culture but also modernizing traditional music to be revived in new contexts of sound and experimentation.

Thanks to the precious contribution of Carlo "Canaglia" De Pascali, one of the greatest exponents of Salento folk music and virtuoso of frame drums, we tried to give the sound library CATAROF the widest and most complete offer in terms of rhythmic articulations built on the instruments in question, to offer the composer solutions that are always different and complex.
